THCA VOLUNTEERS An important component to the success and smooth operation of the Center are the volunteers. Volunteers are goodwill ambassadors for the arts. They enable the Center's staff to provide a variety of services and outreach that would otherwise not be possible. In addition, they also extend a personal service to the visitors of the arts center. Volunteers are needed as: office assistants gallery docents ushers ticket takers concession operators performer chaperones The benefits of volunteering for the Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts are a personal satisfaction of helping a non-profit organization, building friendships, assisting in the development of educational programs, enjoying special events and opportunities to see shows and meet cast members.
