Our Main Stage Theatre has long been selected as the venue for Northeast Florida schools, businesses and other organizations hosting awards ceremonies. Not only does our Main Stage Theatre accommodate a large number of guests, it’s also adjacent to adjoining rooms within our conference center, that provide flexible options for setting up additional areas for your event. Your guests will enjoy ample free parking in a secure lot and easy access to our facility, which is located on the beautiful campus of the St. Johns River State College in Orange Park, convenient to Jacksonville, St. Augustine and surrounding areas.

The center has wireless network access, and rental of audio-visual equipment is also available for presentations that may be part of your event.
The conference center is comprised of five event suites that are ideal for any occasion. The center is available for rental seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. For your guests’ safety, on-site security is available.
Conference center rental fees includes all tables and chairs, and the setup and breakdown of furniture. Additional equipment is available for rent, including stage platform risers, A/V carts, podiums, white linens, and much more.
For your convenience, the Thrasher-Horne Center’s professional event staff maintains a list of local caterers who can meet any of your needs. You are also welcome to use your own food provider. To do so, please provide a copy of their operating license and appropriate insurance. Should you wish to offer alcohol to your guests, we can refer to you a caterer who has the specific liquor license needed to serve alcohol at the Center, or you may use our on-site concessionaire. Large caterer’s warming kitchen is also available for day-of-event rental.
